What we collect, and why
This page is a waitlist for a product that does not exist yet. The only reason to collect anything is to tell you when it does, and to learn from you what it should be.
What we collect
- Your email, and which profession you picked. That is all it takes to join.
- If you answer the optional questions: your name, whether you see private-pay clients today, who you mostly work with, and anything you type in the free-text box.
- How you got here: which ad or link you clicked (the tracking tags in the link, and Meta's click ID if you came from a Meta ad), the page that referred you, and your browser type. If a price was shown to you, we record which one so we can compare responses.
- Visits to this page, whether or not you join: a random ID kept in your browser, which version of the page you saw and the tracking tags above. It tells us how many people saw each version, so we can tell which one works. It is not linked to your name or email unless you join.
- The exact consent wording you saw when you joined, and when.
What we do not collect
- No client or patient information of any kind. Please don't put any in the free-text box.
- No license numbers, Social Security numbers, immigration or work-authorization details, or payment details.
- No precise location, and we do not store your IP address. (It is passed on to Cloudflare, and to Meta while we run ads, as described below.)
Bots, ads and cookies
The sign-up form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. It runs quietly in the background and may show a small check box if it isn't sure; it sets a cookie under Cloudflare's terms. If we are running ads, this page may also load the Meta Pixel so Meta can tell us which ads led to sign-ups; that sets cookies and shares your visit with Meta under their terms. When you join while ads are running, our server also tells Meta directly that a sign-up happened, so it is counted even if your browser blocks the Pixel. That message includes your email only in hashed (scrambled, one-way) form, plus your IP address, browser type, the random ID above and Meta's click ID, which Meta uses to match the sign-up to an ad. The page's typefaces are served by Google Fonts, so your browser fetches them from Google, which receives your IP address with that request. The page also remembers, in your own browser only, which ad you came from and which price (if any) you were shown, so a repeat visit is counted once.
How we use it and how long we keep it
To email you about KinFront, a couple of times a month at most, and to invite you to a short conversation if you are open to one. We don't sell the list or share it with anyone besides the services that store and send it for us, and Meta's ad measurement described above. If the product never ships, we delete the list. You can ask us to remove you at any time, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
Where it lives
The list is stored with Supabase (database hosting, United States). The page and the sign-up function run on Vercel. Both are ordinary web infrastructure providers acting on our instructions.
Who we are
